It's dark
It's painfully dark

It feels like I'm falling
and falling,
and falling...
into an endless pit of blackness

No hands
To reach out,
No ladder 
To climb on

It goes on
and on
and on,
What's on the end of this spiral?

Is this a spiral?
Or is this a labyrinth?
How do I figure out,
When my eyes see nothing
But gloom?
